Here are our four simple tips for making your flowers last as long as possible.
Untie them, don't keep the twine or rubber bands around them, once you can get them in water cut these restrictions off.
Trim the stems about 2cm when you first get them into water. Then every day or so after to ensure the stems can continue to take on the water and stay hydrated.
When you trim the stems also refresh the water and clean the vase out. It's simple but makes all the difference.
If you are chemical free look away now, but a capful of bleach in the water will help keep bacteria at bay and a clean vase is essential for making your flowers last.
